• She is the first Transwoman to make a full transition while employed at Vanderbilt University 

• 10-year career with the United States Navy, Honorably Discharged.

• Two tours in the Persian Gulf, including Desert Shield and combat action in Desert Storm in 1991

• Board of Directors Nashville LGBT Chamber of Commerce 

• Trans Activist …. standing up for Trans rights in the United States

• Steering Committee Member with the Human Rights Campaign 

• Writing her book about her journey as a transwoman. Aiming for an early 2023 release
